Recent work / projects
Interview Series
March 2024: Sally was invited to be a part of an interview series for the Australian Catholic University (ACU, Brisbane Campus), speaking as a Paramedic about her experiences working in a school setting and the growing number of opportunities outside of state-based ambulance services for graduate Paramedics.
Professional Theatre Debut
February-March 2024: Cast in the role of Dr. Panther (as well as other ensemble roles) amongst a cast of five actors, Sally made her professional theatre debut at the Kingston Butter Factory Cultural Precint in the teaser performance of an original musical, Edgetown, written by Ged Maybury and musical direction by Daniel Endicott.
Age Is Just a Number Baby!!
January 2024: After returning back to her love of singing in 2021, following a long hiatus from the performing arts, Sally has spent the last two years investing in her own development across voice, acting and movement/dance. In 2023, she made a commitment to rebuilding her portfolio and in January, attended the 5-Day Broadway and West End Musical Theatre Experience. Under the leadership of legendary tenor, Paul Tabone and choreographer, Simone Sault, Sally spent five days taking classes in ballet, tap, jazz, singing, performing and receiving feedback from Michael Cormick, pulling together a short ensemble piece as a company (including a solo part) and preparing for a singing audition in front of Ian White (Ian White Management) and MD Guy Simpson.
